Plant Information Page
Linked plant information pages will be under each plant as they are finished.

Below is a list of the plants in the Food Forest, started in the summer of 2020, still young but should be in full production in the near future. The Ocala Food Forest is in the middle of two zones, 8b & 9a. If you live in the area of Ocala Florida then these should be the plants to think about when creating your own food forest. The plants that have failed after the long cold spell we had in early 2022 & the later cold spell in December of 2022 have been removed from the list. Some plants were protected with sheets and hopefully we will not have an issue like that again, but we may.

About Me

Once I found out about food forests, I got very excited and decided to turn my entire yard into an edible landscape. The more I researched, the more I knew this was something everybody should start doing, because food independence is SO important.

Remember Victory Gardens during WWII? This is the NEW Victory Garden where everybody, regardless of living situation, should strive to grow as much of their own food as possible.
Not only will this create food independence, it will also play a big part in healing not only mind and body, but the entire planet.
